I agree, Ultima's Evos are pretty damn sweet and run great. I recently bought an 07 Dyna with a 120R (my 1st HD) and it's quite something. Somethings about this TwinCam are spooky but I know the bike so felt good about it. 135HP/139TQ on a dyno to tune the ThunderMax computer.

The early heads all seem to have the valve guide gasket. Do you always delete the gasket when isntalling new guides?

I had a couple things from there , that were junk , and returned them .

The lathe needs to sitting on the concrete and not plastic floor tiles. Also if it has twist in the bed you can remove the twist but it takes time some times days or weeks, small fine adjustments. Also being level from from headstock end to tail stock end not as critical as is the twist. IMO

Blew out a head gasket on our Shovel chasing(and keeping up with) twin cams in the mountains. Hopefully nothin wrong with my head. Well, not the Shovel's head that is

I have one of those that i modified to work on my 1972 SuperGlide with the recirculating primary. The pressure and volume are overwhelming on the Shovel. I had to cut delivery by 50% to the primary to keep it from filling up with oil

Get a 200.00 fiber optic camera for getting into the gears. They are great for tight spots and may save some time on speculation

Hey, Keenan: Easiest is to adjust for back-to-front level at both ends of the bed. Once that is good, look at the headstock-to-tailstock level, and adjust both feet at one end by the same amount to get that correct. If you're lucky, back-to-front won't have changed.

What model Jet lathe is this? It looks a little big to be a 1236py.
